A retelling of the absolutely brilliant horror movie ‘Cabin in the Woods’ with an altogether different ending. Chapter 4 of 4.
Silence filled the control room. Sitterson, Hadley and Truman stared at the monitor. They watched as the two werewolves rutted over the corpse. The two moved from the floor to the couch, tearing chunks out of the fabric and wood frame. They were hypnotized by the sheer feral fucking happening on screen. The lithe, smiling blonde from earlier in the day was replaced by a huge beast rutting with enthusiastic abandon.
“Are-” Sitterson said and then swallowed. “Are we recording this?”…

… outside, a voice called out, just at the edge of hearing.
“Who’s there?” Marty said, looking up from his book. He barely even realized that he’d been staring at the same page for the last few minutes. He strained his ears, nervously glancing around the room. “Dana, was that you?”
The silence stretched. He could hear some talking from the living room but, otherwise, the entire cabin and everything outside was-
You should go outside, the voice whispered again, slightly louder. …

Chapter 2 of 3/4.
Notes: Soooo… hey! Bad news-good news-maybe bad news! Bad news is that I wrote way more than expected so chapter 2 is not the end of the story. The good news is that I’ve already got 9000 words done on chapter 3! I plan to release that chapter Sunday evening. The possible bad news is that I may have to break it into chapter 3 AND chapter 4. If I do that, the final chapter 4 will be out by Tuesday.
“We’re moving,” Jace said. He turned to face the small camp. Lines of sweat rolled down his flushed face. His actions against the Eliksni had worn him down more than he let on. Typical. I was just glad to see a reminder that he wasn’t as unbreakable as he’d always tried to show. “Tsuni, find whoever is in charge with the refugees and give them directions to the city. I’ll signal the Tower for an escort as soon as-“
“You know our orders,” Tsuni interrupted. “No communication and no deviation until we’ve learned the reason for their movements. If we call in early or give away our intentions, it could wipe out all the work we’ve done so far.”…
A very quick, very messy wererat story with an alternate “sexy” ending. I haven’t done a rat TF before so, here you go!
“No, listen. Listen! I’m telling you, the goddamned cab driver dropped me off at the wrong place.” The young woman stalked down the desolate street, shoulders hunched deep within her suit jacket. Her black high heels clicked-clacked on the broken sidewalk. Rows of old brick houses lined the street. The buildings were built in rapid development decades ago but now most lay empty and boarded up. A few children played basketball in the street ahead of her and several adult sat in front of their homes, relaxing on the wide, dark gray concrete steps.…
The things I’ve ordered from various websites are mostly harmless but, all together would paint quite a bad picture of me. Chains. Metal cuffs – not handcuffs, mind you, actual proper thick metal cuffs. A little like you’d see in old movies (old England or France or wherever) when they throw a prisoner in the deepest dungeon with his hands chained to the wall until they lead him out to be beheaded.
Which, to be honest, is pretty close to what I’m doing.
The murders started about eight months ago. Grisly things. Bad enough that you wouldn’t really call them ‘bodies’ anymore. …
This morning I had a weird dream. I think because I’d just finished reading a sci-fi book the day before. Spaceships and fighting and etc… etc… So, anyway, I had a dream about aliens exploring Earth. And, well, could aliens be infected by werewolves? It was an interesting dream so I wanted to write it out quickly before I forgot too much or got sidetracked.
Delicate chimes alerted the young female to the impending drop.
Light flared around her as the small ship woke. Displays gave atmospheric information surrounding the drop zone. A live holographic representation of her site bloomed before her eyes. …
Set in a near-future science-fiction story, a doctor makes a breakthrough in gene therapy that has world-changing applications. Away from prying eyes, he tests his discovery on an unsuspecting young woman and documents her changes.

Like a spy cloaked against its enemies, three small spiked shapes danced unnoticed by the neighboring cells floating in the culture dish. Dimmed light from the monitor lit Dr. Campbell’s face while he watched the movement of the magnified sample. Computers hummed in the darkened room, providing power to the algorithms that automatically tracked and recorded the specimens.
I’ve edited Sacrifice’s ending for clarity and to clean up a few points in preparation for turning it into a multiple chapter series. New stuff begins in the last … quarter? Of the story.
Maida grit her teeth as she lugged the heavily laden basket of potatoes back to her parent’s house. The sun had not yet burned off the early morning fog and the young woman relished the cool mist. Summer had fully set in and the sun spared no mercy for those that worked the fields. Maida grunted and lifted the basket higher, lean muscles tensing under the load.…
When the first torch touched the kindling at the base of the wooden pole, Mary Sturgess moaned and writhed against the rope binding her in place. She dug her bare feet into the dirt underneath her as if to dig her way out and away. The wood to her left caught quickly and she felt the sudden heat in the warm night air. The first Elder stepped back, his eyes shining in the flickering light. The second Elder stepped forward and quickly set his torch to the wood to Mary’s right. Younger than the other two and only just raised to his rank, he didn’t raise his eyes to the woman in front of him. …
