A young woman wanders into the rainforest and is attacked. She finds herself changing under the light of the moon.

The sharp, high calls of coquis and thousands of other hidden nocturnal creatures began to fill the air as the sun slipped lower in the sky.  Darkness fell quickly in the rainforest, the trees blocking what little light remained of the red and pink and orange sunset. The sound of laughing tourists joined the small animals calling for their mates as locals moved silently around a large clearing, re-lighting special torches used to keep mosquitos and other biting insects away.…

A young woman brings a curse upon herself.

Hello!

This story is for Solone ( http://solone.deviantart.com/ ) a very talented CG artist (and that’s saying something for me since I really like CG TF art). He recently put out a series titled “Motel 6” ( http://solone.deviantart.com/gallery/56387845/Motel-6 ) and I decided, what the hey! I’m going to write a super quick little story about it and make stuff up! And so, I did. Please note that this is my own interpretation and, most likely, Solone had an entirely different idea for what was going on. Sketch 04 – Alone

Written for someone specific.  A super quick story.  Two werewolves thought they were alone in the world until they meet for the first time.

 

The first meeting. Nervous at the prospect of meeting another wolf for the first time. Anxious. I can feel it at the back of my mind. Padding. Sitting with crossed paws only to stand and walk around and around in circles. Waiting. He knows what’s coming.

And then there you are, walking towards me, recognition on your face. I stand. Worried about stupid things. Handshake, hug or…? How does- but you’re suddenly there and your cheek slides by mine as you press yourself into my space.…

Testing Grounds – Chapter 1

Set in a near-future science-fiction story, a doctor makes a breakthrough in gene therapy that has world-changing applications.  Away from prying eyes, he tests his discovery on an unsuspecting young woman and documents her changes.

 

May 23rd, 2057 11:24 am PST

Like a spy cloaked against its enemies, three small spiked shapes danced unnoticed by the neighboring cells floating in the culture dish.  Dimmed light from the monitor lit Dr. Campbell’s face while he watched the movement of the magnified sample.  Computers hummed in the darkened room, providing power to the algorithms that automatically tracked and recorded the specimens.
