Maida grit her teeth as she lugged the heavily laden basket of potatoes back to her parent’s house. The sun had not yet burned off the early morning fog and the young woman relished the cool mist. No, not actually.  But, kind of?  You know how some artists will put out a page full of quick sketches?  I plan to do something like that except mine will be very short stories.  The first one should be done later this afternoon and will be my first dragon story.  Just a quick little thing.

And for you werewolf lovers, don’t worry – I have one or two for that as well.…

I’m 800 words into The Lady Wore Red chapter 4 but it’s slow going compared to most of my stuff.  My style varies depending on the story and what I’m trying to achieve and TLWR is a heavy and slow story. With this one, I’m working on descriptions and darker tones and that slows me down.  Quite different from Layers which is/was a stream of consciousness first person story.  That I can write 1000 to 1500 words per hour.

So – slowly but surely……

So, I’d asked for a story request and I got two.  Decided I’d do both of them because, what the hell, right?

The first one is up as Hellfire (requested by Hexen here) and is my first “monster girl” story so be gentle there.  I haven’t read any before so I’m hoping I didn’t mess that up badly.

I’ll see if I can do the second one in a day or two.…

89,294 words.  Give or take.   10 chapters.  That’s a whole lot of words.

I started Layers a year ago on October 2nd, 2012 and now I’ve finished it.  What started as a simple little scene from a fantasy turned into nearly a novel.  I hadn’t planned on writing anything past the first scene but it received very good feedback so I came up with ideas… and then got terribly stuck while trying to figure out how to make it make sense.  A fursuit in a box makes for an okay quick TF thing but not for a longer story.  Not when you want it to make some sense.…

As you can see, I just posted chapter 9 for Layers.  And, yes, I plan to wrap it up in one more chapter.  That’ll probably be around 10,000 words or so.  And, no, it’s not going to take a whole month because I have plans that I need to get on and one of those plans is finishing a non-erotic sci-fi story to submit to a contest.  And then, I’ll be working with the amazing illustrator of Skin and The Change in order to turn the story into a web comic.  I’m going to also probably sell the story for super duper cheap on Amazon and so forth as a test.…

Okay!  Website is set up and I’m liking the current two column theme so now on to writing.  I’ve just started in on Layers chapter 9.  I’ve said before that it’ll be ten chapters so almost there.  Won’t be finished with it today but hopefully Monday!…

Hello!

I’ve decided to set up a place for my writing and this is what I’m trying first.  I’m a web developer/programmer so theoretically I could make my own website but… why?  Especially because I know I’d want to make it all shiny and pretty and and and… and I’d not get to spend much time writing.  So, WordPress.  Until and when I need to change formats.
